Have only been playing whistle a few months here- sorry, my playing is still pretty rough- but am making slow progress. :)

I really like playing on Bflat whistles.. whether polymer or metal whistles. To me personally, it's more mellow and 'breathy' than high D whistles, but still does not require excessive breath power or long finger stretches like a low G whistle does for example. It's just a matter of finding a Bb whistle whose tone you love.
