Your Whistling
General penny whistle or music discussions
I had to search the conversion rate for pounds and USD, I have a several high and whistles like that and they're sweet. Still I find myself playing the low cost Becker's most often.

Hummm. I cannot tell if you are serious or playful. Whistles in my collection are from $20 to $200. I've had very few really bad whistles and some very nice whistles in the $20 range such as Becker Whistles. The Bruke and Reyburn are the high end ones and yes they sound sweet. I'd like to try a Carbony but at $260 to $500, no.
Hi Keith - Your growing collection is a symptom of WAS, Whistle Acquisition Syndrome. Most players have it.

Here is a link to a site of international tunes. Not all fit the whistle but the majority do. Very interesting stuff!

So, St. Patrick's Day is soon upon us. Anyone care to submit an original Limerick? Remember the rhyme scheme is: AA BB A.
The video link is a good one. I've been dabbling with the Duo and not all the note combinations work well. And high D will require both hands on the main, 6 hole whistle and the melody whistle does not harmonize with it, I'm surprised Susato does not have a print or video tutorial. They have not responded to an email inquiry, which admittedly has only been a week or so. Still the whistle has potential. I just need to press on with it.
I too have a double ocarina from Charlie Hind. It is handcrafted, high end and just sits about unused.
Any members familiar with Susato's Ducle Dou double whistle?
Hummm. I clicked, "Groups", but do not see the, "Join" button...
Yes, I want to start a new forum. As a devout Luddite these thing bewilder me. A potato generally has more navigation skills than I.
